The Little Net Loft really is the perfect holiday hideaway home to escape the speed and stress of modern life. Attention to detail is reflected throughout the property and its fully equipped to a high level to ensure your holiday is perfect. The Little Net Loft is self-contained with its own separate private entrance from the courtyard that’s ideal for offloading your suitcases!
The Little Net Loft was converted in the 19th century into a dwelling from the open area where fishermen used to hang their nets out to dry. It’s recently been lovingly refurbished; turning it into light and airy accommodation which is situated only 15 metres from the historic Mousehole harbour with its sandy beaches
Its located in a quiet traffic free position being nestled at the back of a courtyard and up a flight of granite steps, the stable style front door opens into the living room; 14'0" x 11'5" (into window recess narrowing to 7'2") which is furnished with a cosy Morso wood burner with a slate hearth. Apart from the wood burner the living room is also heated by a programmable electric radiator. The exposed floorboards have been white washed and are enhanced with rattan rugs
As well as a two seater sofa, there is a Lloyd Loom chair which adds charm to any room. There is also a dining table for two and a blanket box style coffee table. For when the weather is slightly inclement, the SMART TV and chromecast attachment give our guests access to their favourite channels, Internet and Netflix. There is also a DVD player. WiFi in the Little Net Loft is supported by BT Infinity which operates a download speed of up to 55 Mbps.
The original granite wall really sets off the bedroom(10'5" x 10'2") with which has a double bed with a king sized duvet, a walk-in wardrobe and a sash window which looks out onto the outside decking area. The bright bathroom with a ceramic tiled floor has an electric shower, heated towel rail, low level WC, chrome heated towel rail and velux window.
The separate kitchen (9'11" x 6'6") with its ceramic tiled floor and original period wall panelling is well equipped with an under counter fridge, electric cooker, washer/ drier, microwave and toaster. We also provide beach chairs and a picnic rug so that you can enjoy the harbour beaches.
Although there is no garden, there is a small outside table with two chairs and the harbour is only a few steps away where you can sit back and enjoy the colourful scene.
The famous harbourside village of Mousehole offers a good range of day to day facilities as well as quality restaurants, pubs and galleries. It is popular with locals and visitors alike and enjoys some of the most beautiful coastal scenery in the country. Mousehole has a wonderful selection of restaurants, pubs and cafés as well as art galleries and gift shops. It's located just 4 miles from Penzance which has mainline train connections to London Paddington and is 12 miles from St Ives.
As it was originally a fishing village, parking is limited to the approach roads (free) and to the harbour and main car parks (paying). A shared parking area right next to The Little Net Loft is available for offloading and loading.
